Terms of Use

Rules for using the private Plant Watch dashboard, ESP/device features, and watering controls.

1. Scope

These terms apply to use of Plant, a private plant monitoring and watering dashboard connected to sensors, ESP devices, water tank readings, and pump controls.

2. Private access

The dashboard is intended for authorized users only. Do not access, test, copy, modify, or control the system without permission from the website owner.

3. User responsibilities

4. Watering and hardware control

The website can trigger or manage watering-related actions. Sensor data, tank readings, Wi-Fi status, ESP health, relays, pumps, valves, and power supplies can fail or report stale values.

Users must treat watering controls as assisted tools, not as a guarantee that plants or property are protected. Physical inspection remains important.

5. No emergency or safety-critical use

The dashboard is not designed for safety-critical, emergency, medical, industrial, or unattended high-risk use. Do not use it where a failure could cause serious harm, flooding, electrical danger, or major property damage.

6. Data and backups

Plant names, photos, logs, calibration data, sensor values, alerts, and settings may be stored by the website. Users should export backups before major changes, testing, migration, or deletion.

7. Availability

The website may be unavailable during hosting issues, maintenance, updates, power failures, internet problems, ESP firmware issues, or database errors. No permanent availability is promised.

8. Changes and updates

The website owner may change features, access rights, safety limits, account rules, and these terms when needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, or project development.

Plant Assistant

The Plant Assistant is a local helper for convenience. Treat its answers as support information only. Always check the actual dashboard status before making watering or hardware decisions.
